Core Deposit, Service Charge and Return Policy
In cases where the
customers original core is used additional parts may be required as needed, in
addition parts sent to us for rebuild must be complete, additional charges may
apply if the unit has been disassembled. Machining,
sleeving and other related shop time fees are charged at $85.00 per hour, these
charges would be over the normal rebuild estimates listed above. Your final
sales receipt returned with your
project will have all the details. Depending on project requirements freight
charges may apply. Call us if you have any additional questions.
*Note: Core in advance
required. This means you must send us your original core for rebuild.

Core charges apply on rebuilt/exchange units, exchange units must be rebuild-able to receive full or partial credit.
CORE RETURN POLICY
Cores must be the same part, rebuildable
and returned within 30 days to receive full core credit.
*Credit will be reduced by 30% on returns after 30 days, and 50% after 45 days
from the original sale date.
*Full credit will be given for cores that are fully assembled and rebuildable
only.
*Reduced credit of 50% for disassembled units or with missing or damaged parts.
*No credit will be issued for damaged cores that are not
rebuildable
Replacement cores are very expensive and hard to locate. We do our very
best to keep these charges to a minimum but Italian Car Parts must make changes to our core policy to cover the expenses associated with
the search,
service, & core
replacement costs. Italian Car Parts is now requesting most
cores (your old parts) in advance so we can do a thorough evaluation to determine
repair, rebuild or replacement costs. We have
implemented a core service charge as well, this charge is non-refundable. Finding
a replacement core is a time consuming process and good cores are very rare &
expensive.
Customers that order parts requiring a core deposit & service charge will
receive email notice of this policy and will be requested to review and agree
prior to the order leaving our facility.
